This incredible set of seven antique British made hallmarked sterling silver dinner forks have beautiful monogram on the handles. The set has two forks that are 20.5cm and five that are 19.5cm long and have monograms on the handles. The seven forks have a combined weight of 427.46g which is substantial for solid silver dinner forks.

The set has four different sets of hallmarks. 3x forks hallmarks consist of the "TWJH" makers mark confirming it is an original Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne set, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the leopard Assay mark confirming the set was made in London, the letter "R" confirming they were made in 1812 and the 1786 to 1821 King George III duty stamp. 2x forks hallmarks consist of the "MC" makers mark confirming it is an original M1000ary Chawner set, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the leopard Assay mark confirming the set was made in London, the letter "A" confirming they were made in 1836. 1x fork hallmark consists of the "WRS" makers mark confirming it is an original Willian Rawlings Sobey fork, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the castle Assay mark confirming the fork was made in Exeter, the letter "k" confirming it was made in 1844. 1x fork hallmark consists of the "TF" makers mark confirming it is an original Thomas Farnell fork, the harp-crowned hallmark confirms the silver fineness is 925 sterling silver, The Hibernia Assay office hallmark - confirms the fork was made in Dublin and the queens head hallmark - confirms that silver duty/ tax was paid on the fork. The forks are in great condition for their age and there is absolute minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear.
