This awesome antique hallmarked sterling silver collectable spoon with the (old) South African Flag measures 11cm long. The spoon decal is silver plated and the shaft and bowl are sterling silver. The hallmarks on the spoon consist of the "Anchor" city mark confirming it was made in Birmingham, the Lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the letter "D" confirming the spoon was made in 1928 and the makers mark EB which we are not able to confirm. There is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear. The colours on the enamelling have some ageing.
