This very ornate and graceful antique (minimum a 130 years or more) sterling silver plated gravy boat has the town mark and tax stamp. It seems to be Glasgow? town mark and the tax mark is a bit unclear, this would date the piece between the years of 1784-1890 when tax had to be paid to the crown on all silver. The gravy boat has minor age and usage related wear and tear and tarnishing which gives it appeal, and it is very much a usable gravy boat that would look amazing on a dinner table or buffet server.
